Here are the songs Liz, Conie, and Ihotu led at the first "Sing Out Stress*Sing In Rest" BIPOC & Mixed Race folk centered sing at Springboard for the Arts on Tuesday, night, August, 16, 2022:
  1. Sweet Surrender (text: Saint Symeon/music: Sophia)
  2. I did not come here alone (The Peace Poets)
  3. Healing is Possible (Orion Johnstone)
  4. Put Your Roots Down (Molly Hartwell)
  5. This is the Moment (Peace Poets)
  6. You Don't Know What's Going On (Exuma) - led by Razik
  7. sucking @ something's the first step (heb, a.k.a. Heather Chelan) - led by Maya
  8. We Rise (Batya Levine)
  9. May I Be Empty (Batya Levine)
We are grateful to the crew who sang with us tonight!

(For future reference, come anytime! We imagine this space to be permeable as folks take care of themselves the best ways they know how.)

Big gratitude to Springboard for the Arts for inviting artists to propose site activations at their new location on University and selecting us as one of them! Special shout out to Razik and Jeff who were the support staff that helped us setup and close up and joined in the singing!!!

We'll be back in two weeks on Tuesday, August 30! **Different location though!**  Find us at the center of Western Sculpture Park, 387 Marion St., just a few blocks from Springboard. (don't worry, we'll be back at Springboard in September :)

Love, Conie, Liz, & Ihotu
